John and Kara Hagelin – Wedding

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

SUPERUNIFICATION

Let there be no confusion
As we present the electric conclusion

Sound the bold chorus —
For standing before us

Is a display of nuclear fusion

Observe all the bliss that’s released!
The happiness and joy that’s increased!

And glowing so bright,
That innermost light —

Like a perpetual sun in the east

On August the 9th (mark that date)
He jumped to a new quantum state

And all of us say
Of this marvelous day —

We think this is just really great!

He’s taken a step quite advisable
And yes, he is still recognizable

But one thing he shows
As he stands there and glows —

Dr. Hagelin is renormalizable

There’s rejoicing from deep in creation
For this sweet superunification

Triumphant tones —
For each one now owns

Half of a balanced equation

With mass and charge balanced, both sides,
Unity no longer hides

It’s a living reality
True actuality —

Finest feeling is rising in tides

The deeper in nature one plumbs,
The more unified nature becomes

Then . . . pure singularity
Pure consciousness — pure clarity —

The wholeness surpassing all sums

This is the lesson he’s taught
This is the knowledge we’ve caught

Now he’s walking the talk
Sans lectern and chalk —

And what happiness to us he’s brought

His heart was already an ocean
But now, with a point of devotion,

In waves it will flow
In love it will grow —

Deep, silent wholeness in motion

This voice of the unified field —
Brings to light what once was concealed

In this sweet land of liberty
True supersymmetry —

The truth of our life stands revealed

Dr. Hagelin has promised he’ll start
Creating a beautiful chart

With symbols and signs
And numbers and lines

The lovely Lagrangian of the Heart

For the heart has its own deep cosmology
Its own language, its own terminology

The heart’s never stationary —
It’s ever inflationary

The heart is its own sweet technology

Dear Kara, you’re queen to our king —
What waves of elation you bring

We know from your bio
You hail from Ohio

Ohio . . . Iowa . . . same thing

And a Fairfield welcome to Brecon —
You’ll discover here more than you reckon

We’ll be tracing the arc
Of your bright inner spark

Growing brighter now second by second

In the wake of this pledging of troth
We embrace and we welcome you both

Such a fortunate blessing
To be always progressing

And enjoying invincible growth
